The biblical story of Esther comes to life in the awe-inspiring epic “One Night with the King.”
Tiffany Dupont stars as Hadassah, a Jewish orphan raised by her Uncle Mordecai in Persia. When the disobedient Queen is removed from her position by King Xerxes, Hadassah is among the many women considered as her replacement.
To conceal her Jewish background, Hadassah changes her name to Esther and captures the King’s heart. However, Haman, a descendant of a tribe nearly wiped out by Jewish King Saul, plans to eradicate all Jews. Esther risks everything, breaks royal protocol, and bravely approaches the King to plead for her people’s salvation.
