How much do you know about Nigerian gospel artiste Grace Jahdiel Benjamin who is better known by her stage name “Jahdiel”.

Grace Jahdiel Benjamin is a Nigerian who hails from Edo State was born on 11th November, 1986, she is a  contemporary gospel singer, songwriter and vocalist. She professionally began her music career in 2006, when she released her smash single album titled Heritage in 2008.

Let’s talk about her growing up.

Growing up in Nigeria, She did her primary and secondary school education at Aunty Ayo International School then proceeded to get her BSc degree in Chemistry at the University of Lagos.

Jahdiel started singing at the age of five, and then joined her local church choir where she learnt to play the keyboard and guitar at the age of thirteen.

Fun fact 1: The name Jahdiel means, “God gives joy”, so it’s no surprise that she’s always joyful, evidenced by social media pages.

Fun fact 2: Her song ‘Sweet Holy Spirit’ was awarded a certificate after having 15k streams world wide, how amazing is that?

Fun fact 3: She is married to an award winning gospel star Emmanuel Benjamin, popularly known as Eben. They have two sons.
