Jonathan McReynolds – Overrated

Jonathan Caleb McReynolds was born September 17, 1989, and is a Grammy-winning American gospel musician. He began his music career in 2012 with the release of Life Music via Entertainment One Music. He has had two No. 1 Billboard Gospel Albums since with Life Music: Stage Two (2015) and Make Room (2018), fifteen Stellar Awards, four GMA Dove Awards, and five Grammy Award nominations in addition to his win in 2021.

And God is able to make all grace (every favor and earthly blessing) come to you in abundance, so that you may always and under all circumstances and whatever the need be self-sufficient [possessing enough to require no aid or support and furnished in abundance for every good work and charitable donation] (2 Corinthians 9:8 AMPC).

What we just read is simply mind-blowing. It unveils God’s will for you; the life that He’s given you: it doesn’t require aid or support. Meaning that it doesn’t matter what you face, the solution is inside you. Being born again, you’ve already been given everything you’d ever need: “According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue” (2 Peter 1:3).

Colossians 1:27 says, “…Christ in you, the hope of glory.” It doesn’t get better than that! Christ in you is everything. Jesus said in John 14:16, “And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you forever.” The Holy Spirit is in you NOW! With the Holy Spirit in you, you have everything you could ever want in life; you can be anything and can do anything.

No level of greatness or height of success is too lofty for you to attain. You have infinite possibilities, limitless and unparalleled advantages in life. It’s part of the result of the God-life—the God-nature in you. God didn’t create you to be in want of anything. Everything is inside you. Eternity is in your heart (Ecclesiastes 3:11).

That’s why He said, “A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things…” (Matthew 12:35). What are the good things you desire? What do you want? What do you want to see? Bring them forth from within you with your faith-filled words! John 7:38 says, “Out of your belly shall flow rivers of living water”— words of life and power. Hallelujah!

PRAYER / CONFESSION

Dear Father, I thank you for my triumphant life in Christ! Thank you for the Holy Spirit who lives in me and in whom and through whom I can do all things and fulfill my destiny to your glory. Thank you for granting me all that I require for life and godliness, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Spirit Of Praise Receives Gold YouTube Award

South African Gospel music group Spirit of Praise has achieved a YouTube milestone. The group made the announcement in a social media post where they displayed their golden award for passing 1000 000 subscribers.

Fans joined them in the celebration after the group posted the gold Youtube award on their Social media with the caption “Just arrived in the mail”.

Spirit of Praise is the first gospel group to be awarded this golden award from YouTube in South Africa. According to a fan, “Spirit of Praise has been nothing short of excellent and consistent in their craft, spreading the gospel through spirit-filled worship and praise that has brought great joy, healing, strength, and more to many”. Another fan said, “…and they never disappoint fans, they always eat the bread and leave no crumbs leaving many in an “I want to hear more of what Spirit of praise has in store” state”.

The talented gospel music group ‘Spirit of Praise’, comprising of several gifted gospel artists and singers, has been making waves in the South African music scene. Their music project, ‘Intense Worship and Praise’, is inspiring and uplifting the Christian community towards a closer relationship with the Lord.

Since their formation in 2008, ‘Spirit of Praise’ has consistently released various projects with traditional gospel music styles and powerful content that have touched the hearts of many.
