Gospel music legend Marvin Sapp has bagged two Dove Award nominations for the 52nd edition of the annual event.
The nominations for the 52nd annual Dove awards were announced earlier in August, eliciting a stream of congratulatory message and felicitations from fans, music lovers and artists from across the world.
Marvin was nominated in two categories; the first nomination was in the “Traditional Album of The Year” category for his “Chosen Vessel” album. The second nomination is for “Song of the Year” category for his lead hit single “Thank you for it All” which upon its release reached the number one spot on Billboard gospel digital songs and Gospel national airplay charts.
Acknowledging the recognition Marvin shared, “I’m grateful to the @gospelmusicassoc and everyone involved with the Dove Award nominations this year. It is a blessing to have my music ministry acknowledged alongside so many great Christian creators. We do this because we are called to, but a little celebrating is okay too! Congratulations to all of the nominees. I’m looking forward to the big night!”
