Tope Alabi, a renowned Yoruba gospel music minister, has announced the upcoming release of Nigeria’s first-ever gospel artiste movie titled “The Weight”, which was inspired by God. The movie is produced by Tope Alabi herself and directed by Ayoola Benedict.
“The Weight” is a story that portrays God’s compassion, love, and betrayal, and promises to be spiritually uplifting. Tope Alabi announced the release date of the movie on her social media accounts and encouraged viewers not to give up on themselves because God will never give up on them.
The movie features an all-gospel artists cast and stars popular gospel music artists, singers, actors, media celebrities, and more, including Tosin Martins, Mike Abdul, Ibitayo Jeje, Efe Nathan, Tosin Bee, Any Sings, Enkay, Gbenga Adenuga, Nikki Laye, Psalmos, Saco and many others. Nikki Laoye, who is also part of the cast, expressed her excitement about showcasing her acting skills in the movie.
Tope Alabi shared updates about the movie’s production on her Instagram page and stated that “The Weight” will deliver viewers completely from all satanic webs. According to her, the movie will be a blessing to all and will mark the first All Gospel Artists Movie in Nigeria.
The Weight movie is scheduled to be released on YouTube on April 8th, 2023. Fans and enthusiasts of gospel music and Nollywood are eagerly anticipating the release of this unique and uplifting movie.
