Ayanda Ntanzi, a South African gospel singer, has gained massive recognition in the music industry with the release of many hit songs. Born on January 31, 1992, Ntanzi is a self-taught singer who started his music career due to his love for God. Despite not originally intending to be a gospel singer, he has become a household name in the industry.

Ntanzi’s songs, including Priestly Worship and Udumo, have gained massive airplay, and he has continued to drop more albums. He lost his mother at a young age but was taken in by his uncle and aunt, who became his guardian. Coming from a family of singers, they influenced him to follow the music path and devote his talent to his Christian faith.

After singing from a young age, Ntanzi ventured into the music industry officially in 2014 with the help of his mentor, Nqubeko Mbatha, who invited him to join the Gospel Classic TV show. He was signed by Koko Records a year later, and he released his first album. His work earned him a nomination for Best Newcomer at the SABC Gospel Crown Awards.

In 2015, his album Udumo (Fame) earned him the award for Best Urban Contemporary Gospel, and he gained worldwide recognition. Ntanzi went on to record and drop Priestly Worship in 2017, a critically acclaimed Live CD and DVD at the Durban Playhouse, which housed many hit tracks like the award-winning single, Nasempeni.
